Travis Harley Clark, 32

CLark Travis
Army Specialist Travis Harley Clark, son of Jan Kirkendall Clark, was born in Overland Park, Kansas and resided in Robertsdale, Alabama.

His interest in the military came at a young age as he wanted to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps and serve his country. He attended college at Auburn University and decided to take a year off to go to Iraq to fight for our country. He was passionate about serving, loved what he did and took pride in being a part of the army, constantly striving to better himself while uplifting and encouraging others to be their best as well as make his family proud.

Travis suffered a traumatic brain injury while in training in Iraq and also suffered from PTSD. He served 10 years in the army and was honorably discharged in 2013. He fought hard to overcome the obstacles that he faced and finished his BS degree from AMU and was working on a Masters in Theology at Liberty University. He was never treated for his TBI, and was just being seen for his PTSD 6 years after coming home from Iraq.

His family meant everything to him. He was a good man who loved hard, and was loved beyond words. We miss you and love you Travis Harley Clark. May you rest easy in the arms of Jesus.

Those left to cherish his memory, his mother, Jan Kirkendall; his wife, Trina Clark; his children, Breeana and Sadie; his brother, Randy Clark; and sister-in-law, Crystal Clark.

I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. John 10:28
